I woke up this morning and my body hurt. Hurt in a way that made me want to just hop back in bed. Legs, thighs, back, ick. But i got off my butt and went for a spin around the block. I walked up the 2 ginormous hills and ran (slowly) the rest. It was windy, yet perfect. I wish I had been at the Happy Place running one of my long training runs where I was able to run for 5 miles like it was nothing. All would be right in the world.
It wasn't breaking records but it was something. If only just 15 minutes.
